Known for his innovative techniques and dedication to his students’ success, TV has earned a great reputation.

TV’s journey as a coach began on the court, where he honed his skills working with players of all levels, from beginners to elite competitors. His experience traveling with professional tennis players exposed him to the highest levels of the sport, providing valuable insights into the strategies and techniques.

In addition to his tennis background, TV is also a formal squash player, further expanding his expertise in racket sports. His understanding of the nuances of squash gameplay has enriched his coaching style, allowing him to offer comprehensive guidance to players looking to excel on the court.

Now, TV has set his sights on the world of pickleball, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for coaching to this rapidly growing sport. Meet Coach Fi – our amazing L1 Coach and one of the heartbeats of the community.

With many years of tennis experience behind her, Fi brings great knowledge, energy, and a welcoming approach to every session. Since discovering pickleball three years ago, she has fully embraced the sport and quickly became a passionate “pickler” both on and off the court.

Fi is a true people person who loves socialising, connecting players, and making everyone feel included. She is well loved within the community for her positive personality, supportive nature, and ability to create a fun atmosphere around the courts.

Away from coaching, Fi is also the creative force behind all the beautiful plants and greenery around the club, helping make Woy Woy Tennis Club such a welcoming and vibrant place for everyone to enjoy.

002Pickleball-coach-ManuCoach Manu

Meet Manu, a high-performance pickleball coach with deep roots in elite sport. With over 20 years of competitive badminton experience, including winning the All-India Badminton Championships, Manu has successfully transitioned his expertise to pickleball, competing and medalling across Australia and internationally.

In the past two years, he has earned Gold at the Gosford Open 2025, Silver at the NPL Championships 2025, and Bronze at PPA Melbourne 2025, along with international exposure at the Namur Open in Belgium (2024). Currently rated DUPR 4.7, Manu is on a clear path toward DUPR 5.0 by the end of 2026.

Since beginning his coaching journey last year, Manu has worked with players across all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors. His background in national-level badminton and competitive pickleball gives him a strong technical eye for strategy, footwork, shot selection, and match play under pressure.

Beyond the court, Manu strongly believes that great performance is built through smart nutrition, structured gym routines, and disciplined pre- and post-game recovery, helping players improve not just their game, but their longevity in the sport.
